Sylvie Arlaud is a Senior Lecturer of intercultural studies and literatures in German at Sorbonne Université’s Department of Germanic and Scandinavian Studies. Her research focuses on German-language literatures and arts from the 19^th to the 21^st centuries, on German theatre of the same period (history, theory, representation, performance, transfers) as well as on cultural transfers among German-, French- and English-speaking countries.
